BIO

I was born in Oaxaca, Mexico and currently live in Long Beach, California. I attended Evans Community Adult School and completed high school in 2006 at the age of 29. I earned an Associate of Arts in 2009 from Los Angeles City College. In fall of 2012, I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from California State University Long Beach. Currently, I’m a Masters of Fine Arts candidate at the same institution.

My work has been exhibited at the CSULB University Art Museum, Art Space Purl art gallery in Daegu, South Korea, Angels Gate Cultural Center in San Pedro, California, Palos Verdes Art Center in Rancho Palos Verdes, California, Firehouse art gallery at the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge in Louisiana, Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery in Los Angeles, California, Collective Arts Incubator gallery in High Land Park, California, Torrence Art Museum in Torrence, California, Cerritos College in Cerritos, California, and presently at Brainworks art gallery in Los Angeles, California, South Bay Contemporary in San Pedro, California, and at the National Immigration Law Center in Los Angeles, California..
